Upholstered Bench Seats
Upholstered bench seats are made from solid hard wood - usually oak, by Jacqueline at her workshop. She uses mortise and tenon joints to make the frame and traditional upholstery techniques to cover the seat. The benches can be made to any size (within reason!) and can be covered in a fabric of your choice. They are the perfect, practical finishing touch to any room. You can use them for putting your feet up, extra seating, or even a coffee table if used with a tray. Prices start from £495.
Footstools
Footstools are made using a flat upholstered board and turned legs secured to the underneath. They can be made to any size, but stock items are in four set sizes -
Small 12" x 15" £200
Medium 15" x 24" £250
Large 24" x 24" £300
Extra large 24" x 36" £350
There is a choice of legs - light or dark wood, short, tall, with or without castors. The choice of fabric is endless! As long as it is upholstery weight fabric it can be used to cover the footstool. If you feel like a challenge why not make your own footstool on out of the weekend courses?
Memo Boards
These delightful boards are useful, look great and are the perfect gift for someone who has everything! They come in three different sizes but can also be made in a custom size -
Small - 12" x 16" £25
Medium - 16" x 16" £30
Large - 16" x 24" £35
They are designed not to be pinned into as it would damage the fabric over time. The idea is to use the ribbons to slot notes and photos behind and the padded backing holds them in place. They are finished on the back with two D-rings and cord so they hang on a picture hook.
Below are the fabrics which are kept in stock but if you'd rather supply your own fabric and have a board custom made then please get in touch. Alternatively you could make your own on one of the Memo Board Courses
